Jasmine started her Kathak Dance training at the age of 6 years under the guidance of Smt. Snehal. She completed her graduation under the guidance of Smt. Archana Chaudhari and presently continuing her further studies under the guidance of Mr. Ajay Shendge, director of ‘Nrityayatra’  and senior disciple of Smt. Parwati Dutta, in Aurangabad, India. She received the finer lessons of Lakhanow, Jaipur and Banaras School of Kathak. Jasmine also feels grateful for the valuable guidance received from Pt.Birju Maharaj, Pt. Munna Shukla in workshops, from time to time, in the finer aspects of Kathak. Jasmine started her Folk Dance training with the most difficult and challenging folk dance Bhavai, of Rajasthan, and then learned many regional folk dance forms of India, namely, Aag Chari, Zanj Nrutya, Kaal-Beliya Nrutya,  Lavani, Gondhal etc.

              Being a firm believer in maintaining the integrity of tradition and experimental in nature, Jasmine explores her creativity without compromising on the classicism of the dance form. Her learning and understanding of Kathak and Yoga have helped her to realize Her intensity and passion to learn, create and spread the knowledge potentially across the world. Her ‘Integrated Yogic Approach to Kathak’ is helping students to actually live the Artistic yet Yogic Life. Apart from performances she has been working and publishing her integrated approach research in International and National Conferences.         

Jasmine is a very passionate teacher, and has been imparting training in Kathak to young children and adults from last 7+ years through her school ‘Gadharvi Kathak Nrutyalaya’, in Jalgaon, MH. Her exceptional and integrated approach has gathered her recognition and appreciation from the stalwarts of dance arts within India.
